Aus der Reihe der Special Releases des britischen Labels Soundway erschein nun eine intensive Auseinandersetzung mit dem Sound Kenias aus den 70ern und 80ern. Unverwunderlich das dieser umfangreiche Trip Stile zwischen Afrofunk, Highlife, Rumba und Benga abdeckt. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die unverkennbaren 70er Anleihen die auch f\u00fcr Discofreunde empfehlenswert sind. Denn durch die streckenweise rauschhaften Jam Sessions mit catchy 4\/4 Beats ist diese epische Compilation ein kleiner Geheimtip f\u00fcr jeden der seinen Horizont etwas globaler erweitern m\u00f6chte. Afrika wei\u00df halt wie man Dance Mukke am besten transportiert. Sehr starke Zusammenstellung.<\/p>\n

Kenya Special<\/a> erschien als 3-Fach Vinyl mit insgesamt 24 Tracks (inklusive Bonus 7-inch) am 29. April auf Soundway<\/a>. Die Doppel-CD Version enth\u00e4lt 8 Tracks mehr.<\/p>\n
